Dr Stefan Rudolf, Chief Engineer at the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) of the RWTH Aachen University
Stefan Rudolf studied mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University and Tsinghua University in Beijing and graduated with an additional degree in economics. In 2009, he then started as a researcher in the Department of Innovation Management at the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) of the RWTH Aachen. Since then he has been active in numerous research and consulting projects dealing with increased effectiveness and efficiency in product development. Since 2013 Stefan Rudolf has been in charge of the Department of Innovation Management at the WZL and is the Managing Director of the Complexity Management Academy.
The Complexity Management Academy specialises in skills development in the field of complexity management. It not only provides a comprehensive skills enhancement programme but also promotes the active exchange of experience between interested companies via a complexity community.
