Lenze impressed the distinguished jury at the prestigious TOP 100 innovation competition and is now able to officially call itself a Top 100 innovator. In a scientific selection process, Lenze achieved particularly impressive results in the categories “Innovative Processes and Organisation” and “External Orientation/Open Innovation”.
Lenze CEO Christian Wendler says: “A unique selling point and competitive advantage that is important for the Lenze Group is our focus on digital innovations. For us, thought leadership means shaping digital transformation from within and not by means of disruptive incubators detached from the corporate core.”
In 2018, the company pooled its expertise in this area in the new “Lenze Digital” division. Lenze Digital combines the expertise of Lenze, encoway and logciline for digital transformation in the SME sector and supports machinery manufacturers, automation providers, and users throughout the entire product life cycle of components, machinery and plants. The TOP 100 Seal for exceptional innovative strength and outstanding success with innovation has been awarded to SMEs since 1993. The scientific leadership has been in the hands of Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke since 2002. Franke is the founder and director of the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. The mentor of TOP 100 is the science journalist Ranga Yogeshwar. The Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft for the Promotion of Applied Research and the BVMW are project partners.
