Following the success of the first two events last year, the third Bremen Industry 4.0 Hackathon will take place in September 2019. Once again, small teams of software developers, designers, and creatives will be able to show what they can come up with in 48 hours \u2013 from the concept to the prototype implementation. The motto is again: IDEATE \/ NETWORK \/ PROTOTYPE \/ PITCH!<\/p>\n

Software developers, designers, data and industry experts, marketers and tinkerers from the maker scene are set to discover what the provided platforms and ecosystems have to offer and to deliver creative and fascinating implementation ideas for networked products, apps and services. We welcome students, scientists, practitioners and start-ups who are eager to work together on the industry of tomorrow. <\/p>\n

The focus for the implementation ideas is on B2B applications in the context of Industry 4.0. The participants have gadgets at their disposal such as 3D printers, Raspberry PI, Arduino, Beacons and Kinect, which they will be able to use to develop their prototypes. <\/p>\n

The teams will present their cloud, mobile and IoT skills to the audience and the jury on real industrial machinery, and will be able to win attractive prizes. <\/p>\n

Participation in the Industry 4.0 Hackathon is once again free of charge. Anyone interested can register for the hackathon at www.hackathon-bremen.de. The third Bremen Hackathon will once again be held in the event rooms of kraftwerk \u2013 city accelerator bremen.<\/p>\n
