Dr. Claus Bischoff is the new Chairman of the Supervisory Board at encoway

encoway says goodbye to Frank Maier and welcomes the new CTO from Lenze

There is a handover at both Lenze SE and encoway: on 1 May 2023, Dr Claus Bischoff (49) will become the new CTO at Lenze and at the same time the new Chairman of the Supervisory Board at encoway. He succeeds Frank Maier (60), who as a member of the Supervisory Board played a key role in encoway’s development for 15 years.

With his expertise and experience, he set many impulses in encoway’s unique success story. Frank Maier, who worked for Lenze for a total of 18 years, including 14 years on the Lenze Executive Board, will be leaving the company on 30 April to devote more time to his family and personal interests.

The encoway crew said goodbye to Frank Maier in April during an emotional townhall meeting and on this occasion Dr. Claus Bischoff was able to present himself directly as his successor.

I thank him on behalf of the entire encoway crew and say goodbye to a good friend today,” says Christoph Ranze, Managing Director of encoway and adds: “At the same time, I am very pleased that Dr. Claus Bischoff is succeeding him on the Supervisory Board. On behalf of the entire encoway team, I would like to extend a warm welcome to Dr. Bischoff and am extremely looking forward to our future cooperation.”

Dr Claus Bischoff is a proven and recognised expert in engineering, automation and mechatronics. He has many years of experience in setting up digital and agile units as well as organisational and business development in globally operating companies.

In his welcoming remarks, Dr Bischoff addressed how much he is looking forward to the future cooperation and that together and especially with joy and passion they will achieve good results.
